Hongyi Wang (王红艺) (native Chinese) is a Chinese Patent Attorney who has been working in the field of intellectual property since 2014. With seven years of experience at a patent law firm in Shanghai, she has developed expertise in patent prosecution and patent litigation in various technical fields, including electrical, computer, automotive and mechanical technologies.

Hongyi Wang holds an LL.M. degree in IP & Competition law from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC, Max Planck Institute). She also worked as an IPR Researcher at 4iP Council, as part of the Ericsson - 4iP Council Research Program. In this role, she focused on research related to standardized technologies in the telecommunications industry.

Hongyi Wang commenced her legal and practical training to become a European Patent Attorney at WUESTHOFF & WUESTHOFF in 2023. Her primary focus areas encompass telecommunications, artificial intelligence, video coding, and computer technologies.
