| Processing time | If all necessary data for the registration is available, we will file the application within 1 business day. The official examination of a trademark application may occur within a few weeks. If the Trademark Office is of the opinion that formal changes to an application are necessary, this will delay registration. For German trademark applications, a request for accelerated examination may be filed, so that the application is examined faster. An EU application is processed and published particularly quickly if the requirements of the “fast track” procedure are met. |
