| Registered | The “R in a circle” indicates that the relevant trademark followed by this sign is a registered trademark. Using the “R in a circle” for trademarks that are not yet registered may be misleading. Misleading use may be subject to a warning letter subject to fees, in particular by your competitors. The “R in a circle” should therefore only be used for registered trademarks. It should not be affixed to a trademark either which is not identical with the form registered in the register, e.g., because elements have been added. |
